Necessary products:
1 packet of puff pastry
2 tsp dried apricots
1 tsp raisins
1 tsp brown sugar
50 g butter
3 tablespoons honey
1 egg
0.5 tsp whole nuts
Method of preparation:
Thaw the puff pastry at room temperature and cut each sheet into two pieces. Boil the apricots and raisins separately. Put half of one sheet of dough in the form in which you will bake, sprinkle half of the apricots on top, on them brown sugar (maybe plain) to taste. Put a second layer of dough, followed by raisins and sugar again. In the same way, make another layer of dough, followed by dried apricots and sugar, finish with the last half of the dough.
Mix the yolk with 1 tablespoon of water and spread the baklava to get a gloss. Cut into diamonds, but cut the dough completely, only the top layer. In the middle of each piece put a nut.
Put the baklava in the oven for 10 minutes at 200 degrees, then pour each lozenge with melted butter and return to bake at 160 degrees for 30 minutes. During this time, make a syrup of 1/2 teaspoon of water and 1/2 teaspoon of sugar, add honey for flavor. Cut the finished baklava again along the already made contours (cut only the first three layers), pour the honey syrup and leave to cool. When this happens, cut into pieces and serve.
