Learn how to cook "Hornballs with lemon cream and powdered sugar". Delicious recipe.
Required products :
1 teaspoon high-fat milk
1/4 teaspoon sugar
4 eggs (at room temperature)
3.5-4 teaspoons flour
1 tablespoon dry yeast
1.5 teaspoons salt
1.5 tablespoons softened butter
1 1/4 teaspoons cups lemon cream
powdered sugar for sprinkling
1 egg + 1 tablespoon water (to spread on the horns)
Method of preparation :
Heat the milk, then transfer it to a convenient deep bowl and add the sugar. Pour 1 teaspoon of flour and mix until smooth. Followed by lightly beaten eggs and stirring again. Then add the dry yeast and another 1 cup of flour. Continue to stir, add salt and finally add another 1/2 cup of flour. You should get the most uniform and soft dough, which you place on a surface sprinkled with flour and knead, add a little of the rest of the flour, using as much of it as necessary (until it stops sticking to the hands). Then return to the bowl in which you mixed the products, add the softened butter and mix once more. Cover the dough with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours (preferably overnight).
When you take it out of the fridge, put the rested dough on a plate lightly sprinkled with flour and cut into two parts. Roll one into a circle and cut into 8 equal triangles.
In the wide part of each put 1 tablespoon of lemon cream and roll.
Arrange the horns in this way in a tray covered with a sheet of parchment and proceed in the same way with the rest of the dough.
When finished, cover the dish with plastic wrap and leave in a warm place for 45 minutes. Once the horns have risen, smear their surface with the beaten egg with a spoonful of water and bake in a preheated oven at 175 degrees for 15-17 minutes.
Then wait for it to cool and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
Enjoy your meal!
