Buckwheat is boiled for 15-20 minutes, and porridge of the product prepared with milk - 35 minutes.
Before cooking buckwheat , clean of stones and various contaminants, wash with cold water, which then drain. Before processing, you can put the buckwheat briefly in a pan without fat - when cooked, it will be looser. Put the pan on low heat, when the water boils, add 1 tsp oil. Cook over low heat, under a lid, for 20 minutes.

The chickpeas are soaked in water for 4 hours in a ratio of 1: 4 (1 part chickpeas: 4 parts water), during which it is boiled for 2 hours, and 40 minutes before it is ready, it is salted.
Wash the corn kernels well, pour salted and sweetened boiling water over them. Stir and cook under a lid for 15 minutes. Then add oil and cook for another 10 minutes. The porridge is served with milk. You can add pumpkin, raisins, dried apricots, apples, dried or fresh peaches, canned pineapple and more. If you do not want sweet porridge, you can prepare it with cheese, yellow cheese or tomatoes.
Oats are washed, poured boiling water, left for 2 hours and then boiled for 30 minutes.
The quinoa is washed before boiling, poured with cold water in a ratio of 1: 2 and brought to a boil. Boil over low heat for 15 minutes in a pan with a closed lid, stirring occasionally. When cooked, the quinoa increases 4 times. Before cooking, you can put for 2-3 minutes on the stove in a pan, once cooked, it will be crispy.
The bulgur is washed, the water is drained and fried in vegetable oil for 2-3 minutes. Then add water in a ratio of 1: 2 and boil for 20 minutes over low heat in a pan with a closed lid, stirring.
When cooking, the bulgur increases 3 times.
If the peas are not whole (but half) it takes from 45 minutes to 1 hour to cook them in a pot without a lid. If the peas are whole - 1-1.5 hours.
Before boiling, soak the peas for 8-10 hours, then wash several times and drain the water. Pour 3 liters of water per 1 kg of peas. If during boiling the water boils and you have to add - just add boiling water.
Peas will cook faster if you add oil or sunflower oil to the water.
If foam forms during cooking, remove it with a spoon or sieve. The salt is added at the end. The type of product and the hardness of the water are important for determining the duration of cooking. Cooked peas are stored for 2 days in the refrigerator.
2 cups of boiling water are needed to prepare 1 cup of lentils. Pour over the lentils and cook over low heat for about 20-30 minutes, stirring.
To get a tastier lentils, add rosemary, sage, celery, bay leaf during cooking. Before cooking, the lentils are washed and put in boiling water. It is good to add 1/2 tablespoon of olive oil - so the beans will be tender and velvety. The lentils are not stirred constantly during cooking. Add salt 5-7 minutes before it is completely ready.
The rice is washed, put in a saucepan with salted boiling water and boil for 15-20 minutes on low heat (until the water evaporates and absorbs). You can add a teaspoon of vegetable oil.
Ripe beans
The red beans are boiled for between 50 minutes and 1 hour, but pre-soaked in water.
The white bean needs 6-8 hours in water and 50 minutes in cooking. If you do not soak, you will need to cook for 1.5-2 hours.
