2. To reduce the loss of vitamins, put the vegetables in boiling water and cook with the lid closed.
3. Cooking should be done in salted water, because salt will give them a better taste and so they will store more nutrients.
4. Vegetables for salad is better to cook unpeeled.
5. Whole chopped vegetables lose less nutrients and vitamins.
6. Steamed vegetables retain more soluble substances than cooked water.
7. Fresh vegetables, fruits and green leafy vegetables, as well as fresh frozen, it is better to put in boiling water.
