Mix 1 teaspoon of wine (white or red) with 2 teaspoons of vinegar (white or red, respectively) and 1 teaspoon of finely chopped shallots. Allow the mixture to stand for 5-10 minutes to soften the onion. Add 1/2 tsp liquid honey, 1/4 tsp salt and 3 tbsp olive oil. Beat everything with a wire whisk and season the vegetable salad.
The wine makes the taste of stewed meat and soups more saturated. Just add a little of the drink to the pot with the dish and bring to a boil. White and sparkling wines are suitable for broths and vegetable soups (transparent). Thicker red wines are combined with tomato cream soups or stewed beef.
