Necessary products
For strawberry ice cream:
500 grams of berries
175 grams of sugar
4 egg yolks
400 milliliters of cream
For banana ice cream:
4 ripe bananas
powdered sugar to taste
2 egg yolks
200 milliliters of cream
Method of preparation :
Mix the strawberries with 100 grams of sugar and puree in a blender. Mix the remaining sugar with the yolks and place in a water bath until the combination thickens and turns white. Remove from the heat and cool, stirring constantly. Whip the cream. Mix the strawberry puree with the yolks and cream. You can leave a few tablespoons for decoration.
Puree the bananas using a blender. Then add the powdered sugar to them and stir. Add 2 egg yolks and cream, stir.
Take a large suitable bowl, cover it with plastic wrap. Put some of the strawberry mixture and put it in the freezer until it hardens. When this happens, pour all the banana mixture and return to the freezer until it hardens. Finish the dessert with the remaining combination of strawberries and cream and leave in the freezer overnight.
The next morning, turn the ice cream cake on a suitable dish, remove the foil.
Garnish with cream or whip cream with egg whites and sugar and make strokes on the surface. You can arrange pieces of fruit around the cake if you wish.
