Required products :

for the oil pan:

  • 1 teaspoon butter at room temperature, cut into cubes
  • 3/4 tea cup of crystal sugar
  • 2 1/2 teaspoons flour
  • 1/4 tea cup powdered sugar

for cream:

  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 1/4 tea cup flour
  • 6 eggs
  • 2/3 tea cup of lemon juice
  • peel of 1 lemon, finely grated
  • 1 lemon, sliced ​​for garnish

Method of preparation :

Prepare the marshmallows by mixing the butter and sugar in a large bowl. Beat them with a mixer for 3-4 minutes until combined and a creamy consistency is obtained. Add the flour and powdered sugar. Combine again.

The mixture will be crumbs, but that shouldn't bother you.

Cover a rectangular tray with a sheet of paper and lightly grease the top. Transfer the dough and press with your hands to form a whole flat loaf.

Bake for about 20 minutes (at 180 degrees). Cool for 30 minutes before continuing with the recipe.

In a large bowl, beat the sugar, flour, eggs, lemon juice and zest until smooth. Pour it over the cooled pan and bake until the cream hardens for about 20 minutes at 180 degrees.

Allow the cake to cool on the hob, then refrigerate for 3-4 hours.

Cut, sprinkle with powdered sugar and garnish with thin slices of lemon.
