How To Cook Lentil Meatballs With Tomatoes And Raisins - Recipe

Required products :

  • 400 grams of tomatoes
  • 1 onion
  • 100 grams of red lentils
  • 2 tablespoons raisins
  • 1 teaspoon curry powder
  • 6 sprigs of parsley
  • juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • vegetable oil
  • sol
  • pepper

 

Method of preparation :

Steam the tomatoes with boiling water, peel them and grind the flesh.

Peel and finely chop the onion, wash the lentils.

Pour the vegetables and lentils in a saucepan, pour 3 tablespoons of water and cook under a lid for 20 minutes, stirring.

Then add the raisins, curry, chopped parsley, pour the lemon juice and season. Cook for another 10 minutes and allow the mixture to cool.

From the resulting "minced meat" make 4 flat meatballs, roll them in flour and fry in a pan with oil for 5 minutes on each side.

You can serve them both hot and cold.
