Necessary products:

1 tsp sifted flour

1/2 tsp baking powder

1/8 tsp Sol

100 g oil at room temperature, cut into cubes + oil to spread the form

2 eggs

1/2 tsp sugar

1 medium orange

1 tsp vanilla extract

Clarification - the measuring cup used has a capacity of 240 ml

Method of preparation:

Grease a pancake pan with oil and leave it for a while, spread not only on the indentations, but also on top, because the sweets increase in volume. Mix the flour, salt and baking powder. Beat the eggs with a mixer until you get a light creamy mass (about 3-5 minutes) Add the vanilla extract, finely grated orange peel and citrus juice Stir Then add the flour, stir, do not beat, turn the butter, add it and mix until the dough is smooth, it should be thick but not solid (do not run on the mixer stirrer) Cover with foil and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.

Preheat oven to 190 degrees. Using a spoon or two, spread the dough into the tins so that it completely covers the dents. The dough from the refrigerator will be thick, the butter in it will be firm. If you bake the dough immediately after cooking, it will be more liquid.

Bake for about 10 minutes, the sweets should acquire a light golden color, and a dark crust will form on the edges.

After removing from the oven, arrange the Madeleines on a wire rack (if they are not easily removed from the mold, use a silicone spatula or the tip of a knife. Wait for them to cool completely, sprinkle with powdered sugar, you can pour icing or melted chocolate.

Here's how to make a glaze:

Mix 1/2 tsp sugar with 2 tsp cream, milk or lemon juice.

Pour the icing over the sweets or dip them in it.

Enjoy!
