Required products :

  • 5-7 very young cobs of milk corn
  • 3-5 grains of coriander
  • 3-5 grains of black pepper
  • 2-3 bay leaves
  • 4 tablespoons sugar
  • 3 tablespoons vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon salt

 

Method of preparation :

Remove the corn leaves, clean them from the fibers and rinse under running water.

Pour water into a saucepan, put on the stove to boil.

When this happens, add sugar, salt, then bay leaves, coriander seeds and black pepper.

Let the liquid boil for 3-4 minutes, then remove from heat and remove the fragrant leaves.

Arrange the cobs vertically in a sterilized jar large enough. If necessary, cut them so that they can be collected in the bowl.

Pour the boiling marinade, add the vinegar to the jar and close with a lid.

Allow to cool completely to room temperature. Store in the refrigerator.

In the same way you can prepare more ripe corn.
