Necessary products for preparation of marinated shiitake mushrooms:

  • garlic cloves
  • red (water) onion
  • fresh dill
  • fresh parsley
  • sea ​​salt

How are shiitake mushrooms marinated?

Saute the mushrooms in a small saucepan, the time depending on their size and how fleshy they are and varies from 1 to 2 minutes. It is advisable to trust the watch at this time, instead of acting on the eye.

When the jar is full, pour in the liquid that has separated from the mushrooms while they are resting, and you are preparing the aromatic mixture for the marinade.

 
This "brine" contains enough condensed water and oil, so you do not need to add them to the jar.

Leave the mushrooms prepared in this way overnight at room temperature, then store in the refrigerator.

You can consume after 2-5 days at your discretion. During this time, the aromatic spices will have flavored the mushrooms and the liquid in the jar.
