Necessary products:

 

  • about 30 small onions
  • 1 and 1/2 teaspoons coarse salt
  • a teaspoon of beet juice
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 1 teaspoon wine vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sugar

 

Method of preparation:

 

Peel a squash, grate it and put it in a bowl. Pour a tea cup of water and add salt. Soak the mixture for 3 hours, drain and pour the beet juice. Leave for a day.

Put the products in a saucepan, add vinegar, garlic, sugar and 1 teaspoon of water. Bring the mixture to a boil and drain the onion.

Put it in a jar and pour the hot mixture. Cool and store in the refrigerator. Serve as a side dish and enjoy the wonderful taste.
