Required products :

  • 4 medium-sized eggs
  • 100 grams of butter
  • 100 grams of powdered sugar
  • 80 grams of self-raising flour
  • 30 grams of cocoa

For the glaze :

  • 50 grams of butter
  • 50 grams of cooking chocolate
  • 20 grams of cocoa
  • 250 grams of powdered sugar

Method of preparation :

  • In a bowl, beat the butter and sugar until smooth.
  • In a separate bowl, beat the eggs and add them to the buttercream. Stir and if you find that the mixture begins to cross, add 1 tablespoon of flour.
  • Add the flour and cocoa and mix until smooth.
  • Grease the bottom and walls of a heart-shaped pan and pour the mixture into it.
  • Bake in preheated to 180 degrees for about 40 minutes or until the toothpick comes out clean from the center of the cake.
  • Remove the cake from the oven and allow it to cool on a wire rack.
  • Meanwhile, make the glaze by melting the butter and chocolate over low heat.
  • Add the cocoa and powdered sugar and stir with a fork. Add a little warm water if the cream becomes too thick.
  • Glaze the cake when it has cooled completely.
  • Serve it with a lot of love!
