Necessary products

  • 2 teaspoons milk
  • 2 teaspoons chicken broth
  • 2 teaspoons grated cheddar cheese
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons broccoli, finely chopped
  • 1 stalk of celery, thinly sliced
  • 1 teaspoon carrots, cut into sticks
  • 1/2 onion, finely chopped
  • 1/4 tea cup melted butter
  • 1/4 tea cup flour
  • salt and pepper to taste

 

Method of preparation

Melt 1 tablespoon butter in a medium heat pan. Fry the onion inside for 5 minutes until soft.

In a large saucepan, pour the remaining butter and flour. Stir and cook on low heat for a few minutes.

Gradually pour the milk into the saucepan, stirring constantly. Add the chicken broth and simmer for about 20 minutes.

Pour the broccoli, carrots, onions and celery. Stir and simmer the soup for another 20 minutes to soften the vegetables.

Add the grated cheese and wait for it to melt. Season with salt and pepper, remove from the heat and serve the soup warm. Enjoy your meal!
