Required products :

  • 120 grams of butter
  • 50 grams of sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 140 grams of flour
  • 100 grams of walnuts (can almonds or others of your choice)
  • 1/2 cup jam of your choice
  • pinch of salt

 

Method of preparation :

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees, dry the walnuts in it for about 10 minutes and then grind.

 

Beat the butter with the sugar, add the egg yolk and vanilla extract. Followed by flour and a pinch of salt.

Knead the dough, which you divide into 12 - 15 equal parts.

Shape into balls and refrigerate for 30 minutes.

Beat the egg whites to a froth

and dip each ball of dough in it when you take it out of the fridge.

Then roll in the ground walnuts and arrange the cakes in a pan, the bottom of which you have lined with baking paper.

Press them with the middle with your finger and put a little of your favorite jam in the resulting recess.

Bake the cookies, about 15 minutes are enough.

Wait for them to cool and serve.
