Required products :

3 kilograms of cabbage

500 grams of peppers

1 kg of carrots

1 kg of onions

1.5 teaspoons oil

1 tea cup of vinegar (6%)

1/2 teaspoon sugar

1/2 teaspoon salt

Method of preparation :

Wash the cabbage, wait for it to dry and chop it into thin straws. Wash the carrots, peel them and cut into circles. Do the same with the peppers, removing the seeds and stalks. Cut the onion into slices.

Mix all the vegetables in a large deep bowl. Add vinegar, salt and sugar to the oil, pour the marinade over the salad. You can add black peppercorns or other spices to your liking. Put all this on a moderate heat and after it boils, let it boil for 10 minutes. Remember to stir from time to time. When you remove from the heat, distribute the pickle in sterilized jars, close and turn upside down.

Allow to cool.
