Required products :
500 grams of pork liver
1 onion
1 carrot
4 tablespoons sour cream (or mayonnaise)
salt and pepper to taste
Method of preparation :
Wash the liver well and leave it for a while in vinegar, water or milk. Every housewife knows at least a few subtleties that will help her make her liver soft and airy. Here's a trick from us: during frying, add a little honey or sugar to the liver.
But follow the sequence for cooking.
Once you have prepared the liver, chop the onion and grate the carrot.
Put the liver in a deep pan or saucepan, add the onion and carrot, then the cream (or mayonnaise), pour enough water to cover the products, close the pan with a lid. Put on low heat and let everything simmer for 15-20 minutes. Towards the end, season with salt and pepper to taste.
In case you suffocate too much and the liver becomes dry, dissolve ketchup or mayonnaise in water and add the resulting sauce (its consistency is not thick, use water and mayonnaise, for example, in a ratio of 50:50) to the dish.
