Learn how to cook "Pork ribs with onion and garlic in maple syrup". Delicious recipe.

Required products :

  • 1.6 kilograms of pork ribs, cut into 8 parts
  • ground black pepper and salt to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 onions
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 120 milliliters of maple syrup
  • 3 tablespoons red wine vinegar
  • 480 milliliters of chicken broth

Method of preparation :

Rub the ribs with salt and pepper. Pour olive oil into a pan, put the pork in it and fry over medium heat on both sides for about 7-10 minutes.

Then remove the ribs from the pan, drain the excess fat and pour in the remaining diced onions and garlic cloves. Season and cook for about 4 minutes until the vegetables begin to turn red.

Then add the maple syrup and wait for it to boil. Once this is done, reduce the temperature of the hob, pour the vinegar into the pan and cook for another 3 minutes. Then put the chicken broth and arrange the ribs in the pan. The sauce should boil again.

Cover with a lid and place the dish for 2 hours in the oven at 180 degrees. After an hour from the beginning of cooking, turn the meat, and 30 minutes before the end - remove the lid.

The meat should become soft. Periodically check that there is enough liquid in the container. If necessary, pour 50 milliliters of water.

Serve the prepared pork ribs with your favorite vegetables.

Enjoy your meal!
