Required products :

  • 1 kg of pork
  • 1-2 onions
  • 2-3 cloves of garlic
  • 2-3 slices of white bread
  • 1/2 cup fresh milk
  • 1 teaspoon spicy ketchup
  • 2 eggs
  • 200-250 grams of thinly sliced ​​bacon
  • 100 grams of hard yellow cheese if desired
  • 300 grams of mushrooms or other mushrooms

Method of preparation :

Soak the slices in the milk, then grind them together with the meat. Peel an onion, chop finely and fry until golden. Add the saturated garlic cloves and simmer until soft.

Wash the mushrooms, cut them into small cubes, fry them as well.

Mix the minced meat with the onion and mushrooms, add the two eggs, the ketchup and season. If you decide to use yellow cheese, grate it and add to the minced meat.

Turn the oven to 180-200 degrees to preheat while you form the roll.

Cover the bottom of the tray with parchment paper, place the minced meat on it and give it the shape of a roll. Cover it with the bacon and cover the ends under the roll, thus wrapping it on all sides.

Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 15-20 minutes. Then remove the coating and let the roll bake until golden brown.

To dry the pieces of bacon, it is good to water them periodically with the juice released during baking (but not more than 2-3 times).

The roll will be ready in about an hour, the exact time depending on its thickness.
