How To Cook Pork With Potatoes, Pumpkin And White Wine - Recipe

Required products :

  • 500 grams of pork (best to use neck)
  • 2 onions
  • 1 carrot
  • 3 potatoes
  • 30 milliliters of oil
  • 300 grams of pumpkin
  • 300 milliliters of white wine
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 teaspoon ground red pepper
  • pepper

  • other spices of your choice

 

Method of preparation :

Cut the meat into pieces, pour white wine over them and store in the refrigerator for 12 hours. Then take it out of the marinade, put it in a dry pan and let it cook until it turns red.

During this time, peel the potatoes, wash them, cut into small pieces, pour warm water and leave for half an hour to remove excess starch. Peel and chop the onion and carrot heads.

Fry one onion until transparent in oil and then add the pork. Cover with a lid and let the meat simmer for about thirty minutes on low heat.

Then put the potatoes in the bowl, and 15 minutes later season to taste.

Peel a squash, grate it and slice it. Stew the other onion and carrot, add the pumpkin and let the vegetables cook for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally and pouring the wine. About 5 minutes before they are completely ready, add the garlic and red pepper.

Arrange the meat with the potatoes on a plate, put in them the stewed pumpkin, sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley and serve.
