How To Cook Porridge Pie With Dock, Leek And Spinach - Recipe

Necessary products:

 

  • 200 grams of spinach
  • 150 grams of dock
  • 1 stalk of leek
  • 2 sprigs of fresh mint
  • 1-2 leaves of fresh mint
  • chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 head old onion, chopped
  • olive oil for frying
  • kosher salt for seasoning
  • 100 grams of grated cow's cheese
  • 2 broken eggs
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 cup fresh milk
  • 1 teaspoon and half water
  • 1 teaspoon corn flour
  • 30 grams of butter

 

Method of preparation:

 

Prepare a round pie pan and grease it. Pour olive oil into a saucepan and fry finely chopped onions, leeks, spinach, dock, mint and mint leaves.

 

Season with salt and parsley to taste. Cool the filling and set aside. In another bowl, pour the milk mixed with water, add salt and cornmeal. Stir until thickened and season with butter, cheese, nutmeg.

 

Add the eggs and stir again. Spread half of the porridge on the bottom of the form.

 

Garnish with green stuffing and cover with the rest.

 

Bake the pie in a preheated 200 degree oven for 30-40 minutes. Cool, cut and serve.
