Required products :

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, pressed
  • 2 stalks of leek, cut
  • 350 grams of potatoes, peeled and cut into small cubes
  • 4 teaspoons chicken broth
  • 1/4 tea cream
  • salt and pepper to taste

For garnish :

  • croutons
  • green onion

Method of preparation :

  • Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
  • Stew the garlic and leeks for about 5-6 minutes until soft.
  • Add the potatoes and broth and simmer the soup under a lid for about 25 minutes or until the potatoes are fully cooked.
  • Turn off the heat and puree until smooth.
  • Add the cream, season with salt and pepper and stir
  • Serve the potato cream soup, garnished with croutons and chopped green onions.

Note!

If the soup is too thick for your taste, add a little water or milk to get the desired consistency.
