Required products :
400 grams of potatoes
200 grams of quinoa
80 milliliters of olive oil
1 medium onion
2 centimeters of ginger root
2 cloves garlic
1 hot pepper
1.5 teaspoons curry a
few sprigs of parsley
1 egg
50 grams of flour
salt and ground pepper to taste
yogurt on request
Method of preparation :
Peel the potatoes, cut them into small cubes and cook until done. Then drain the liquid and mash the potatoes, which are allowed to cool to room temperature.
Boil the quinoa separately according to the instructions on the package.
Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil and fry the finely chopped onion in it for about 6-8 minutes. Then add the peeled and mashed garlic cloves, also finely chopped hot pepper and curry. 3 minutes later, transfer the mixture to a bowl and add the mashed potatoes, quinoa beans, flour, chopped parsley and egg. Season with salt, pepper and grated ginger. Mix everything thoroughly and form meatballs from the resulting "minced meat". Arrange them in a tray, the bottom of which you have covered with parchment, and put in the refrigerator for half an hour. Then fry them in olive oil until golden brown (about 3-5 minutes on each side).
Remove the finished ones on paper to absorb the excess fat.
Serve hot with thick yogurt or sour cream.
