How To Cook Pumpkin Porridge With Milk, Apples And Rice - Recipe

Required products :

500-600 grams pumpkin
1 apple
100 milliliters water
400 milliliters milk
60 grams sugar
120 grams rice
pinch salt
pinch cinnamon

a piece of butter, a favorite jam or honey to serve

 

Method of preparation :

Peel a squash, grate it and cut it into small cubes.

 

Put in a saucepan, pour 100 milliliters of water and place on the stove. Once the liquid boils, reduce the temperature, close the container with a lid and let the pumpkin simmer for about 10-15 minutes.

 

Then add the sliced ​​peeled and peeled apple.

 

Pour the milk, sweeten with sugar and add a pinch of salt and cinnamon.


Stir and bring to a boil. When this happens, reduce the temperature to a minimum.

Pour the previously washed rice over the pumpkin, close the pot with a lid (do not stir) and leave the porridge on the fire for about 25 minutes (until the rice is ready).

 

Then you can mash the pumpkin and apples with a fork or leave in pieces. On top put a piece of butter, also a favorite jam or honey if desired.
