Learn how to cook "Rabbit with potatoes, mayonnaise and dill in the oven". Delicious recipe.

Required products :

  • rabbit meat (one medium-sized whole rabbit)
  • onion head
  • dried dill
  • kilogram of potatoes
  • mayonnaise (5 tablespoons)
  • oil (4 tablespoons)
  • bay leaves (4 pieces)

Method of preparation :

Wash the meat, cut it into portions and arrange in a pan. Drizzle with oil, put the bay leaves and sprinkle the rabbit with dried dill. If desired, you can season with ground black pepper and salt.

Finely chop the onion, add it to the rabbit, add the mayonnaise and mix well so that the meat is covered with the sauce and spices.

It's time for the potatoes. Peel them, cut into random pieces and place next to the meat. Mix the products and pour a little water into the bowl.

Cover the pan with foil and place it in the oven. After 50 minutes, remove the aluminum sheet and let the dish cook for another 10 minutes to redden the meat and acquire a beautiful crust. If desired, at this stage you can sprinkle the dish with grated cheese.

You could replace the mayonnaise in the recipe with sour cream.

Enjoy your meal!
