Necessary products

  • 1 can (400 grams) red beans
  • 1 can (400 grams) peeled and sliced ​​tomatoes
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 minced garlic cloves
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger
  • 1 stalk of fresh coriander, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon cumin
  • 1 tablespoon dried paprika
  • 2 tablespoons mix of hot spices
  • 1 tablespoon oil

 

Method of preparation

Put the oil in a pan and heat it over medium heat. Pour the onion and add a pinch of salt. Fry for a few minutes until the onion softens and darkens. Add garlic, ginger and coriander. Stir and cook for another 2 minutes.

Add the remaining spices - cumin, paprika and hot mix. Stir well. Pour the canned tomatoes and red beans along with the water.

Wait until it boils, then reduce the temperature. Simmer for about 15 minutes until the sauce thickens. You can serve the finished dish with a garnish of rice. Enjoy your meal!
