How To Cook Rice Casserole With Stewed Cabbage And Minced Meat - Recipe

Required products :

300-350 grams of rice
500-600 grams of chopped fresh cabbage
1 tablespoon oil (for cabbage)
2 small sweet peppers
1 tablespoon tomato paste
150 grams of yellow cheese
200-300 grams of minced meat (chicken or your choice)
5-10 grams of butter for spread on the dish
spices for rice - ground black pepper and coriander, dried green onions and other
spices for minced meat - dried dill and parsley, ground black pepper, nutmeg
salt to taste

Method of preparation :

Boil the rice in salted water until ready (pour 100 milliliters of water per 100 grams of rice and add 1/2 teaspoon of salt).


Add salt to the chopped cabbage and stew it in oil for about 10 minutes under a lid. Then add the tomato puree, grated peppers and leave on the stove with the lid closed for another 10 minutes.


Distribute most of the chilled rice on the bottom of a suitable baking dish that you have previously greased with oil. Sprinkle the white beans with your favorite spices.


Next is a layer of half grated yellow cheese, minced meat with spices and cabbage.


The last row is the remaining rice and yellow cheese. Level the surface and sprinkle with spices.

 

Bake the dish in the oven at 180 degrees for 45-50 minutes if you use a glass dish. If the form is not made of glass, the minutes are about 30-40.
