Turning chickpeas into an appetizer is nothing new. It turns out very tasty baked in the oven with different spices, and if you make it more spicy, it can replace the chips at a football match. Now we offer you another option to enrich its taste and turn it from a boring legume into the perfect appetizer.

Required products :

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cans of 400 grams of chickpeas, drained
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • a pinch of black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon fresh finely chopped rosemary
  • 3 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese

Method of preparation :

Turn on the oven to preheat to 400 degrees.

Cover the pan with aluminum foil (do not replace it with parchment paper, because it will moisten the chickpeas when baking).

Dry the chickpeas lightly with a napkin, and if you have a vegetable centrifuge, you can do it in it. Transfer the beans to a bowl.

Drizzle with olive oil, sprinkle with spices and mix well.

Put in the pan and bake for 15 minutes. After the time has elapsed, shake the pan vigorously to turn the chickpeas over and bake for another 15 minutes.

Remove from the oven and sprinkle with rosemary, bake for another 8-10 minutes.

Finally, sprinkle the hot chickpeas with Parmesan cheese and stir.

Enjoy your chickpea "nuts".
