Required products :

pancakes prepared in the standard way
lettuce leaves
boiled meat of your choice
onion fried in butter
crushed walnuts
grated yellow cheese or other cheese of your choice
garlic stuffed with cheese
mayonnaise
salt

Determine the quantities of the products according to the desired number of portions of the finished dish.

Method of preparation :

Cover the bottom and walls of the form in which you will "assemble" the cake with plastic wrap. The edges of the foil should protrude beyond the dish and be long enough to cover the finished dish.

First, place a few pancakes in the pan, which should overlap and cover the walls and bottom of the pan or bowl and go far enough out of it.

Make a stuffing from the cooked meat, which you grind together with the fried onions and the crushed walnuts. Add mayonnaise and stir. Spread the mixture on the end of a pancake and roll it up. In this way, make the desired number of pancakes.

Grate yellow cheese or cheese, add garlic to taste and a little mayonnaise. The second filling is ready. Wrap it in lettuce leaves. Make as many rolls as you think necessary.

 

You should "assemble" the interesting salty cake. Do this in a checkerboard pattern in the prepared dish. Alternate the pancake rolls with the lettuce and cheese rolls until the pan is full. You can make two rows or three.

Finally, "close" with the pancakes that you put earlier in the dish, then with the foil and press with some weight. Leave the dish to stand for at least 10 hours.


Before serving, turn the cake on a flat dish and cut into pieces.

 

A few tips for more appetizing results

It is good to use a small form (such as those for a cake, for example) for the cake, as well as the rolls that you shape, to be as thin as possible.
Grease the inside of the pancakes with which you will cover the dish. It is recommended to spread the leaves and pancakes for the rolls on both sides with softened but not melted butter.
