Required products :

  • about 450 grams of flour
  • 2 tablespoons semolina
  • 1.5 teaspoons dry yeast
  • 250 milliliters of warm water
  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise (homemade)
  • 1 egg (the yolk is needed to spread the bread, and the egg white is for the dough)
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • pinch of salt
  • about 15 slices of sausage (300-350 grams total weight)
  • sesame for sprinkling


Method of preparation :

Beat the egg whites with the mayonnaise, add the sugar, salt and yeast. Pour the mixture into warm water and wait for the yeast to foam.

Add the flour, semolina and knead a dough of medium density. Leave it in a warm place for an hour to rise, then knead once more.

Divide the finished dough into 28-30 balls and roll each with a diameter slightly larger than that of the sausage circles.

Put a piece of salami on each round of dough and cover with a second layer of dough.

 

Slightly pinch the edges of both pieces of dough to hide the filling. Then make 4 incisions (zigzag) and arrange the loaves in a pan pre-greased with cold oil or line with parchment paper.

Leave for 20 minutes in a warm place (the dough will rise again), smear the surface of the loaves with egg yolk, beaten with a tablespoon of water.

 

Sprinkle with sesame seeds and bake the snacks for about half an hour (or until ready) at an oven temperature of 190 degrees.
