Learn how to cook "Shortbread with potatoes, bacon and soft cheese". Delicious recipe.

Necessary products

For the dough:

  • 250 grams of flour
  • 100 grams of oil or margarine for pastries
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

For the stuffing:

  • 500 grams of potatoes
  • 200 grams of bacon
  • 200 grams of soft Brie cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Method of preparation :

Sift the flour and grind it together with the butter / margarine and half a teaspoon of salt.

In the resulting crumbs pour 3 tablespoons of cold water and make a homogeneous dough, which wrap in cling film and store for thirty minutes in the refrigerator.

Meanwhile, boil the pre-peeled potatoes until semi-cooked (they should not be completely soft).

Drain the liquid and cut them into 5 mm thick circles.

Turn the bacon into strips about an inch thick.

Fry them until browned (about 7-10 minutes).

Cut the cheese into cubes.

Pour the bacon into a suitable form with a diameter of 22 centimeters.

Next is a row of potatoes.

Cover them with pieces of cheese.

Roll out the cooled dough in the shape of a circle, slightly larger than the diameter of the dish.

Cover the products in the pan with it, folding the edges to close the filling.

Bake the bread for about half an hour.

When the finished delicacy has cooled, turn it over on a tray.

This way the filling will be on the surface and the base will be from the dough.

Enjoy your meal!
