Necessary products:

 

  • 400 grams of canned chickpeas
  • 200 grams of pre-cooked lentils
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 100 milliliters of tomato juice
  • 10 grams of sugar
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon hot red pepper
  • 1 head old onion, chopped
  • 2-3 fresh hot peppers
  • oil for stuffing
  • fresh parsley

 

Method of preparation:

 

Strain the lentils and chickpeas from the water and set aside. In a saucepan, heat the fat and fry the finely chopped onion, fresh hot peppers and add the legumes. Season the dish with tomato juice, pasta, sugar so as not to sour the salt, black and red pepper.

Stir, pour about 100 milliliters of water and simmer over low heat until the liquid is reduced. Divide portions and serve the stew warm, garnished with chopped fresh parsley and hot peppers.
