How To Cook Spicy Marinated Cheese With Garlic, Olives And Thyme - Recipe

Required products :

200 grams of cheese

2 handfuls of olives

150 milliliters of olive oil

2 cloves garlic

3 sprigs of thyme

small bunch of fresh basil

1 hot pepper

1.5 teaspoon mixture of different peppercorns

salt to taste

 

Method of preparation :

Cut the cheese into small cubes, chop the basil with your hands, cut the garlic into small slices and the olives into circles.

Put a little garlic in a shallow pan, add 0.5 teaspoon of pepper, pour olive oil and heat well, but do not fry. Add salt to taste.

Take a jar with a capacity of 0.5 liters, put in it the hot pepper, thyme stalks, peppercorns and remaining garlic. Then arrange layers of cheese, basil, olives and alternate until the products are exhausted. Drizzle with hot garlic olive oil and close the jar with a lid. When cool to room temperature, refrigerate for at least one day. You can store a maximum of one week.
