Learn how to cook "Sponge cake with bananas, hazelnuts and chocolate icing". Delicious recipe.

Required products :

  • 5 eggs
  • 2.5 teaspoons of sugar
  • 1 teaspoon flour
  • 10 grams of vanilla
  • 1 kg of sour cream with a fat content of about 26%
  • 1 kg of bananas
  • 2 tablespoons liquid cream
  • 60 grams of dark chocolate
  • 100 grams of hazelnuts
  • 5 grams of butter

Method of preparation :

In a deep bowl, beat a cup of sugar with the eggs using a mixer (or use a blender). When the sugar is completely dissolved, add the flour and knead a homogeneous dough with a silicone spatula.

Grease the form you will use for baking the cake with butter, sprinkle with flour. Put the dough and bake in the oven at 190 degrees for 20 minutes.

Leave the finished loaf to cool and cut it in two horizontally.

Make a cream. Beat the sour cream, the remaining sugar and vanilla. If necessary, use a cream thickener.

Peel a banana, grate it and cut it into thin circles.

The "assembly" of the cake follows.

Spread a generous amount of cream on one loaf and arrange pieces of banana on it. Cover them with cream, put the second loaf, again cream, bananas and finish with cream.

Make a chocolate glaze by melting the chocolate and butter over a low heat, add the liquid cream to them, stir and allow the glaze to cool.

When this happens, cover the surface and walls of the cake with it and decorate with ground hazelnuts.

Put the finished delicacy in the refrigerator for a while.

Enjoy your meal!
