How To Cook Stewed Pork In Wine With Garlic, Carrots And Onions - Recipe

Required products :

1.5 kg of pork (you can also use beef)
10 cloves garlic
2 teaspoons coarse salt
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
2 tablespoons oil
1 large onion
2 medium carrots
2 stalks celery
wine (can be white or red)

 

Method of preparation :

Use a whole piece of meat, on the surface of which make 20 small incisions in which to distribute the garlic cloves, pre-peeled and cut in half. Season with salt and ground black pepper on all sides.

 

Seal in a pan with hot oil for about 4-6 minutes (turn the pork during this time so that it can be fried evenly).

 

Then transfer to a pan, add the chopped onions, celery and carrots, pour 1 teaspoon of water and 1/2 cup of wine if you prefer.

 

Place the dish in the oven at a temperature of 150 degrees and let the dish cook for 3-3.5 hours.

 

During the last hour of roasting, cover the meat with aluminum foil.
