Many people do not like to use green beans in their dishes. And the reason for this is not at all the taste of the beans, but the fact that the housewives choose the wrong beans for cooking and after the first failure they no longer experiment.
String beans are very easy to cook and taste delicious if chosen correctly. Asparagus beans should be milky ripe, light yellow or light green in color, dense, shiny. It should break in half easily and with a crunch. Only from such beans will you get delicious dishes. Overripe beans are tough and not tasty.
Before cooking, rinse the green beans well and cut off the ends of the pods. When cooking, dip the beans into boiling water and cook for no more than 5-6 minutes. For many snacks and salads, beans should not be boiled until fully cooked, but until half cooked. Accordingly, the cooking time is reduced to 3 minutes. After cooking, drain the beans in a colander and let dry. Boiled green beans seasoned with butter and herbs are an excellent side dish for many meat and fish dishes.
Recipes with the ingredient fresh green beans

To cook green beans, you will need 500 ml of water ml, salt 1 tsp, saucepan, knife, kitchen board, colander.
