How To Cook Stuffed Chicken With Potatoes And Mushrooms - Recipe

Required products :

1 whole chicken
400 grams of potatoes
250 grams fresh mushrooms
1 onion
75 grams of butter
1/2 bunch dill and parsley
2 stalks green onions
salt and ground black pepper to taste
spices for chicken

For spreading:'

2 tablespoons sour cream
2 tablespoons mayonnaise
3 cloves garlic

 

Method of preparation :

Wash and dry the chicken, wipe the mushrooms with a damp cloth, peel the onions and potatoes.

Cut the potatoes into small cubes and fry them lightly in half the butter. Add salt and pepper to taste, remove them to a plate.

In the same pan, add the remaining oil and sauté the finely chopped onion.

Add the mushrooms, cut into pieces, and fry for 5 minutes, stirring.

Season with salt and pepper and pour over the potatoes. Add the finely chopped green spices and onion, stir and the chicken stuffing is ready.

Mix 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper with 1 teaspoon salt and 1 tablespoon chicken seasoning. 

Rub this chicken on the outside and inside with this fragrant combination. Then fill with the prepared mixture of mushrooms and potatoes and sew the hole.

Put in a pan and place in the oven at a temperature of 180 degrees.

The duration of roasting depends on the size of the chicken: at a weight of about 1 kg - 1 hour and 15 minutes, for 2 kg - respectively 2 hours and 30 minutes.

During this time you should turn the chicken once and spread it twice with a mixture made of sour cream, mayonnaise and crushed garlic.

Serve the dish hot.
