Learn how to cook "Stuffed shank with minced meat, sauerkraut and prunes". Delicious recipe.

Required products :

1 pork shank a
little minced meat mixture (the amount is judged by the size of the shank)
onion
sauerkraut
salt and pepper
red pepper
parsley
dried prunes a
little red liqueur wine (Madeira)
oil

Method of preparation :

Put the minced meat in a convenient container.

Add the chopped onion and sauerkraut to it, season with salt and ground black pepper to taste.

Add parsley.

Chopped prunes and mix everything.

Wash and clean the shank.

Remove the bone by cutting the meat first.

The shank will look like an open book.

Season the inside with salt, red and black pepper.

Spread a layer of minced meat on top, roll up and tie with a thick thread.

Make a wine sauce (you can use orange juice or just water) to which you add oil, salt, red and black pepper to taste. Stir, you will get such a mess.

Apply it to the shank and let it stand overnight or for at least a few hours (in the cold).

An option is to use a baking sleeve.

Place the shank prepared in this way in the oven and let it cook on low heat for several hours (until fully cooked).

The dish is stewed rather than baked, but it turns out incredibly tasty and fragrant.

You can tolerate both hot and cold.

Enjoy your meal!
