Required products :

  • 4 large potatoes / about 400 grams each /
  • 250 grams of minced beef
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon vegetable mix / peas, corn, carrots /
  • 1 teaspoon beef broth
  • 1/2 teaspoon water
  • 1/2 to 1 cup of fresh milk
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 diced onion
  • 1 clove garlic, pressed
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • pepper

Method of preparation :

  • Wash the potatoes thoroughly and pierce them with a fork (about 6 times each). Arrange them on a plate of suitable size and place them in the microwave on high for 5 minutes. Turn them over and return to the microwave for another 5 minutes.
  • When they are ready, cut the lids lengthwise and carefully "dig" the inside with a spoon. The wall of the potato should be no more than 0.5 cm thick.
  • Transfer the inside of the potatoes to a deep bowl, add the milk and butter and season with salt. Puree until smooth.
  • Prepare the stuffing by heating olive oil in a large pan over medium heat and stew the garlic and onion in it for about 2 minutes.
  • Turn up the heat, add the minced meat and mix well. Leave to cook for about 3 minutes, then sprinkle with flour and mix well again.
  • Add the vegetables, broth, water and spices, stir and simmer until the sauce thickens. Remove from heat.
  • Fill the potatoes, leaving the filling to form a peak, then press it down slightly.
  • Sprinkle the mashed potatoes on top or apply with a spoon and then shape with a fork.
  • Bake the stuffed potatoes in a preheated 180 degree oven for about 15-20 minutes.
  • Serve immediately!
