  • 1 tea cup flour (sifted)
  • 1 cup cornmeal
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 broken eggs
  • 1 teaspoon mixture of cream and milk (in equal amounts)
  • 1/4 tea cup melted butter
  • 1/2 cup sugar (if you think the corn isn't sweet enough)
  • 1 cup of corn - frozen, canned or fresh

Method of preparation :

Grease a ceramic pan with oil and turn on the oven to preheat to 200 degrees while preparing the mixture.

With a wire, mix the dry ingredients - flour, cornmeal, leavening agent and salt to combine.

In another bowl, mix the liquids together with the sugar.

Combine the two mixtures, pouring the liquid to dryness, and finally add the corn. Stir quickly, do not knead the dough for too long, because the bread will become smooth.

Pour into the prepared pan and bake for about 25-30 minutes until dry and until the edges of the bread acquire a crispy crust.
