How To Cook Sweet Roll Of Bread With Cream Cheese And Strawberries - Recipe

Required products :

  • 10 slices of fresh white bread for sandwiches
  • 2 tablespoons butter, cut into cubes
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar

For the egg mixture :

  • 4 eggs
  • 3/4 teaspoon + 2 tablespoons milk
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • pinch of salt

For cream :

  • 250 grams of cream cheese
  • 1/3 tea cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice

For garnish :

  • 1 handful of sliced ​​strawberries
  • 1 tablespoon sugar

Method of preparation :

 

  • Preheat the oven to 180 degrees and grease a bread pan measuring 10/21 centimeters.
  • Prepare the cream by beating the cheese with the sugar and vanilla with a mixer.
  • Add the egg and lemon juice and turn on the mixer again until a smooth and fluffy mixture is obtained.
  • Make the egg mixture by combining all the ingredients in a large and deep bowl.
  • Dip 2 slices of bread and transfer them to the bottom of the form. Work fast because the bread is fresh and can fall apart.
  • Repeat 2 more times so that you have a total of 3 layers with slices dipped in the egg mixture.
  • Spread the cream on top and cover it with the remaining slices dipped in egg.
  • Sprinkle with butter and brown sugar.
  • Bake for about 40 minutes in a preheated oven until golden. If you notice that the top starts to turn brown too quickly, cover the form with aluminum foil.
  • Allow the roll to cool for 15 minutes before removing it from the pan.
  • Meanwhile, mix the strawberries and sugar. Stir and set aside to let the juice run.
  • Garnish the roll with the strawberry slices, cut and serve.
