Required products :

  • 90 grams of unsalted butter

  • 2/3 tea cup self-swelling flour
  • pinch of salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon orange juice, warmed

Method of preparation :

  • Grease and cover with baking paper the bottom and walls of a square baking dish measuring approximately 23 cm.
  • Arrange the sliced ​​apricots on kitchen paper to drain as much as possible.
  • Melt the butter in a pan over low heat and gradually add the brown sugar.
  • Stir constantly until the sugar is completely melted and spread the caramel on the bottom of the form.
  • Arrange the apricot halves on top with the cut part facing up.
  • Separate the yolks and egg whites and beat the egg whites in the snow.
  • Gradually add the powdered sugar and continue beating until dissolved.
