Required products :

  • 1 teaspoon + 1 tablespoon flour
  • 1/2 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/8 teaspoon sea salt
  • 6 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon + 2 tablespoons sugar
  • peel of 1 tangerine, finely grated
  • 1 large egg, lightly beaten
  • 1 tablespoon tangerine juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • powdered sugar for sprinkling

Method of preparation :

  • Preheat the oven to 180 degrees and cover the bottom of a large baking tray with parchment paper.
  • Mix the flour, cornstarch, soda and salt in a bowl. Stir and set aside.
  • Beat the butter with the sugar and grated tangerine peel until smooth and fluffy.
  • Add the egg, tangerine juice and vanilla extract. Stir.
  • Slowly add the dry mixture and mix briefly until homogeneous.
  • Pour 1 tablespoon of the dough and shape the buttermilk. Repeat with the rest of the mixture, leaving about 1.5 cm between the sweets.
  • Bake for 10 minutes until the edges turn golden.
  • Allow the mandarin butter to cool, sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve.
