Learn how to cook "Ten tips for making the perfect pancakes - Part Two". Delicious recipe.

We continue with the other 5 out of 10 tips, with the help of which you will make the most irresistible pancakes . In the first part we saw how to choose the dish, how to knead the dough with the appropriate consistency, as well as how much of the mixture needs to be used for baking a pancake.

Let's learn the answers to the following questions ...

6. How to heat the pan?

The main reason for the formation of lumps in the already prepared pancakes is the insufficient heating of the dish that is used. Our advice at the beginning was to bet on cast iron products, but take into account the fact that they heat up longer than Teflon. It is also important that the size of the hob is the same as that of the pan.

It is best to cook the pancakes in a medium-sized bowl over medium heat. To bake a large amount faster, use 2-3 pans at a time.

7. When and how to turn the pancakes?

It is important not to make the pancakes too dry during baking. The homogeneous mixture with bubbles, acquired a golden hue, is a sign that the dough is ready to be turned on the other side (you do not have to wait for the color to become chocolate).

Before turning the pancake, using a wooden spatula (metal versions can scratch the pan and damage the dough) peel off the edges of the dish. Place the spatula in the middle of the dough and turn quickly.

8. How to transfer the pancakes from the pan to a plate?

Three ways are used for this crucial moment:

  • using a wooden spatula;
  • helping yourself with a fork;
  • by quickly virtuously turning directly with the pan into the plate.

The first of the options is the most convenient and easy: tilt the dish, holding the pancake with a spatula, slowly and carefully remove it and put it on a plate.

It is more risky with a fork, as you can damage the pancake.

The third effective option requires prior preparation and experience. If you do not have them, you may need to collect the pancakes from the kitchen floor.

9. How to serve pancakes?

Put them in a flat dish, and it is good to consider in advance the number of people for whom they are intended, because the delicacy runs out quickly and it will not be pleasant for the amount to be insufficient for everyone.
There should be several different sauces, favorite fruit jams, cheese, honey and whatever else you consider on the table - however, the preferences are varied.
There must be napkins and separate plates for each guest. Of course, forks and dessert spoons.

10. How to store pancakes?

Usually our favorite pasta friends run out imperceptibly fast, but there are also cases in which certain quantities remain. That is why it is good to know how to store them so that they do not lose their taste.

The finished pancakes are arranged on top of each other, each of them smeared with butter. When you bake all the dough, cover them with a towel or a suitable dish so that they do not dry out and stay warm for a long time.

You can store them in the refrigerator, cover them with plastic wrap or put them in a box. Thus, they are edible for the next 2-3 days. If you freeze, you extend their "life" to a month.

As for heating, for this purpose use the services of the microwave (at 50 degrees), oven or put the pancakes in a bowl, which put in a pot of boiling water (a few minutes are enough).

We end with some practical tips for dealing with the most common problems in the preparation of pancakes .

  • If they turn out dry and brittle, improve the dough by adding a little milk and butter.
  • Bubbles that appear in the middle of the pancake can be removed by a few holes with a fork.
  • The pancakes are torn if there are not enough eggs and flour in the dough;
  • If they stick to the bottom of the pan during baking, make sure that you spread the dough evenly in the pan and that the latter is placed evenly on the hob. Pour a little oil into the dough.

We can only wish you "Good appetite!"
