How To Cook Thick Bean Soup With Tomatoes, Garlic And Toast - Recipe

Required products :

400-420 grams of canned beans
800 grams of canned tomatoes in their own sauce
4 tablespoons olive oil
2 cloves garlic
6 leaves of sage
4 slices of homemade bread
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper


Method of preparation :

Sprinkle the bread with 2 tablespoons of olive oil and bake on a grill and in a toaster until crispy and acquires a pleasant reddish color.

Heat the remaining olive oil in a suitable pan, put the chopped garlic and sage leaves. Let simmer for about a minute until the garlic is golden. Then add the tomatoes, beans, salt, pepper and mix thoroughly. Leave the mixture on the hob until some of the liquid has evaporated. The soup will thicken.
Put a slice of toast in deep plates and distribute the dish in them.
Serve immediately.
