17. If you are cooking peeled potatoes, add salt at the beginning of the cooking process.
18. Potatoes will become tastier if you change the water after boiling and pour a new one. You can also prepare them in meat broth.
19. The unpleasant smell that is felt during cooking potatoes can be easily removed if you put a few grains of pepper and a small bay leaf.
20. Mashed potatoes are made with warm or hot milk, but not cold, because the dish acquires an ugly appearance.
21. The puree is tastier if before you finish cooking the potatoes, drain the water, add a piece of butter to the bottom of the pan, close the pan and put it on low heat for 2-3 minutes. Then add the whipped egg whites.
