Necessary products:

150 g of frozen puff pastry

200 g chard (beetroot)

1 feather green onion

150 g pumpkin

30 g of cheese

1 tbsp oil

1 tbsp crushed walnuts

1 egg + 1 yolk to spread

ground red pepper

1 tbsp fresh milk

Method of preparation:

Thaw the dough, wash and chop the beets, the green onions into small pieces and the pumpkin into small cubes. Crush the cheese.

Saute green onions and pumpkin in oil for 4 minutes. Add the beets, stew for another 2 minutes and leave to cool. Add the walnuts, egg, cheese, red and black pepper, salt.

Spread the dough, put the filling on it, close the edges and roll. Put it in a greased pan and spread it with a mixture of beaten egg yolk and milk.

Bake for 35 minutes at 200 degrees, placing a bowl of water on the bottom of the oven or use a suitable baking mode, if your oven has one.

Cut the finished strudel into pieces and serve the beet leaves on a leaf.
