How To Cook Warm Sandwich With Mayonnaise, Tuna And Capers - Recipe

Required products :

  • 150 grams of canned tuna fillet
  • 1/4 tea cup mayonnaise
  • 5 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons celery stalks, finely chopped
  • 1 small head of red onion, finely chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon parsley
  • 3 tablespoons capers
  • 4 slices of bread
  • 200 grams of hard cheese of your choice (cheddar, manchego, yellow cheese, etc.)

Method of preparation :

Mix the chopped fish with mayonnaise, 3 tablespoons olive oil, 1 tablespoon caper juice, red onion, celery and parsley (optionally replace with dill). Season with salt and pepper and set aside.

In a saucepan, heat the remaining 2 tablespoons of olive oil. Fry the capers for 4 minutes until crispy, being careful not to burn them.

Coat the 4 slices with mayonnaise or lightly pour olive oil over them. Spread generously with the mayonnaise mixture with tuna.

Sprinkle with yellow cheese on top and grill until spread.

Sprinkle with crispy capers before serving.
