Mix the egg with the water and lemon juice, beat lightly, add the flour, baking powder, salt and pepper to taste. Beat everything until a homogeneous mixture without lumps.
Cut the fillet into small pieces and dip each of them in lemon juice, roll in flour and finally dip in the egg mixture. Fry until done in well-heated oil.
Arrange the fried fish in a suitable dish, the bottom of which you have lined with baking paper to absorb excess fat. Wash the vegetables, finely chop the onion, zucchini into small pieces and fry them together in olive oil until soft.
Pour the fried vegetables in a saucepan and add peeled and finely chopped tomatoes, tomato juice, basil, salt and pepper to taste. Stew everything for about 15 - 20 minutes and serve the fish with the resulting delicious sauce.
