Important:

potatoes for frying should be low in starch; it should be of the same size, of course, of the same grade, smooth and firm; the green peel on the tubers must be cut off. If it is extensive - do not use in food; peeled potatoes are soaked in water. Some at night, some for 2-3 hours to wash out the starch; the shape, thickness, size of the pieces should be the same.

There are many ways to prepare fried potatoes. And each has its own characteristics.

Potatoes fried in a pan

 

Peculiarities:

Fried potatoes with onions and herbs

Necessary:

3 medium potatoes, one onion, garlic clove, 2-3 tbsp. l. vegetable oil, a little cumin, a sprig of rosemary, salt and pepper - to taste.

 

Peel potatoes, cut into small pieces and hold in water. After that, dry.

Heat up a frying pan with oil. Put the chopped potatoes (preferably in one layer) and fry until golden brown.

Cut the onion into half rings and add to the pan. Continue frying until almost done. Be sure to mix.

At the end, add rosemary leaves, cumin, salt, add chopped garlic.

Mix. Fry for another 1-2 minutes and the dish is ready.

Salad with potato chips

 

Ingredients:

3 potatoes, 150 g smoked ham, 100 g cheese, 2 eggs, 100 g mayonnaise, 100 ml vegetable oil.

Peel and grate the potatoes on a grater for Korean carrots and fry until golden brown in oil.

Cut the ham meat into small pieces and put on a plate, and grease with mayonnaise on top.

Peel the boiled eggs, chop finely and put on top of the ham and also grease with mayonnaise.

Grated cheese on top, mayonnaise again and finally - potato chips.

You can decorate with greenery. 

How to fry potatoes in a slow cooker

 

The process is quite simple. Cook according to the recommendations of the instructions for the multicooker, but you can and should control the process. Don't be afraid to open the lid and gently stir with a wooden or silicone spatula.

Fried potatoes in a slow cooker with spices

You will need:

a few potatoes, 2-3 tbsp. l. sunflower oil, 1 tsp ground ginger, 3 tsp. dried basil, salt and pepper to taste.

Wash potatoes well. Do not clean. Cut into slices and place in a deep bowl. Sprinkle with spices, dry herbs, salt and pepper, add ground ginger. Pour in the oil, mix and refrigerate for 10-15 minutes.

Then put the potatoes in the multicooker bowl. Set the "Frying" or "Baking" program and cook for 40 minutes, remembering to stir a couple of times during the cooking process.

Warm salad with potatoes and bacon

 

You will need:

2-3 potatoes, 3-4 strips of bacon, 50 g of hard cheese, salad mix, 1 tbsp. l. lemon juice, a couple of tablespoons of olive oil, a teaspoon of balsamic vinegar, salt and pepper to taste.

Cool the boiled potatoes in the "uniform" and cut into slices.

Place the bacon strips in the pan and fry until crispy. Choose bacon and fry chopped potatoes in bacon fat.

Cut half of the cheese and mash with butter and lemon juice. Tear the salad mix with your hands or chop. Mix dressing and all other ingredients with fried potatoes. Drizzle with balsamic vinegar and top with remaining cheese.

Serve immediately warm. Enjoy!
